viktorie who?

I study Information Studies and Library Science at KISK at Masaryk University in Brno. I came here from the Faculty of Science, where I studied mathematics. While at school I kept oscillating on the edge of theoretical mathematics and computer science, between lectures I was organising events for high schoolers and working on my passion projects. But the urge to dig through equations gradually faded, and I found myself wanting to spend more time on tanglible things.

I want to create things that matter, but I have a soft spot for stuff you can make with your hands. So I worked as an instructor at a mobile workshop run by FabLab Brno, where primary school students learn basics digital fabrication. I taught them to work with 3D printers, laser cutters and vinyl plotters. These days I work in adult education, showing teachers how to use AI in the classroom and in their everyday lives.

In my free time I'm involved with the Brno library of things — a shared inventory project where anyone can come and borrow everyday and not-so-everyday objects.

I like to let curiosity take the wheel, bring up uncomfortable topics in polite company, and wander through unfamiliar cultures. Outside of that I do dancing, solve absurdly niche sudoku variants, and hyperfixate on whatever hobby has claimed me this month.
